          QUESTION:
As a wedding gift to my brother and his soon-to-be
wife, I would love to have the ability to rent
a sports car, convertible, etc in San Francisco
and head south on the PCH.
The ultimate goal is to drive to San Diego without
having to return the car up north.

Any help on this one? We could also start in
San Diego and head north-whatever you may
          have information on.

Great website! It is already a helpful tool!

          Thanks,

          QUESTiON:
Is it possible that we go somewhere to
watch the movie being filmed on the
          beach in California?

          ANSWER:

Baywatch "use to" film in Santa Monica
and Malibu. A lot of films are shot at Point
          Dume in Malibu.
          Venice Beach has some
shows that shoot there (Pacific Blue, etc.)
Sunset Beach use to shoot in the Long Beach
area. But there's no constant beach that
shows are shot. The best bet would be
Venice Beach, Santa Monica and Malibu.
(but Malibu is 26 miles long).
Beverly Hills, 90210 use to shoot in
          Hermosa Beach sometimes.
          Sometimes things are shot at
Dockweiller State Beach at the end of
          Imperial Highway near LAX.

We hope that will help you.

I would love to go to the beach to collect

I found a great forum for Finding Sand Dollars &
Starfish, perhaps you can post a message
there or email someone on the message board.
          It is still active.

I live in California, just outside of San Francisco.
In February, I started taking daily walks on the
SF beach and since that time, I have collected
over 500 sanddollars. All of them are as
white and as hard as can be. Heres how I do it:

I just got into looking for sanddollars. I live in
Southern California and lately have been
unlucky finding any, just broken ones until today.
Found 28, the bulk of them were in a half mile
area. Go when the tide is out, and keep a
careful eye out for the ones half buried.
The ones in my area are called pancake.
Persistance does pay off and remember,
          don't take any live ones!

I heard that there are many of them in and
around Monterey and Santa Cruz area as well.

          QUESTION:
I work for a big corporation and we are looking
for a beach where we can hold a beach party
for our employees on a weekend in the month
          of July.
          Any suggestions???
          Please advise.

          ANSWER:

Since you are in San Rafael, it is probably makes
more sense to have a party at the beach near your
          office??
When I worked for a corporation in Silicon Valley.
We usually go to work in the morning and then we
take off around 10:00-11:00am to go to the party
and we would not have to come back to work that day.
The only thing is if you are taking off for the whole day
then it would not matter if the beach is not near your
office. One day we took off early in the morning and
we went to Red Wood park for a lunch and a hiking trip.
Another day, we took off early in the morning and we
went to Santa Cruz Broadwalk for a whole day.

I always love Stinson Beach and Bodega Bay.
You can also go to Mt. Tamapais to hike before
          or during the party..
(depends on how long the party is)

If you would not mind driving the distant, the beaches
in San Francisco, Pacifica and Pescadero,
          are terrific beaches.

In Northern part of San Francisco, Point Reyes
National Park is also great for company picnic.

You you have the whole day off, perhaps you would
like to venture down south to Santa Cruz Beach
boardwalk, Monterey, Monterey Bay , Pebble
Beaches.& Carmel by The Sea. This option,
however is best for week end party.

Here is a great site for Outdoor picnic etc...
